Listed below are supportive living environments for pregnant women. Pregnant women are generally able to live there (with or without other children) for a specified amount of time and receive assistance through structured programs. Note age restrictions on some facilities.

Other maternity homes may be available, but women are placed in them through EAU (Emergency Assistance Unit – Family Shelter). This is the New York City family intake center that determines need for shelter and best course of action, and then places women. To learn more, click here.
