1. From today’s New York Daily News comes an editorial praising the bishops of New York State for their support of the Farmworkers Labor Practices Act, and urging senate majority leader Flanagan to support the bill that he previously co-sponsored.

2. The House of Representatives has voted unanimously to consider the violence against Christians and ethnic minorities in Iraq and Syria a genocide. However, the vote is advisory, and not binding. Join us in calling on Secretary of State John Kerry to officially declare this a genocide by signing the Knights of Colombus petition.
